COVID-19/BLM:  Sacrifice

Years from now, historians will analyze world conviction during this pandemic, focusing how people of the United States saved each other through sacrifice.  Really?

The recent surge in COVID-19 cases stems from frenzy holiday and weekends with some in the population either not caring about fellow citizens, or lacking the wisdom to recognize this threat.

Many will die.

What is sacrifice?

Being a soldier in our military;

going overseas in the Peace Corp;

working to support your family instead of going to school;

giving up your job to be a caregiver for a loved one;

not eating so others might;

donating an organ;

contributing part of your salary to a worthy cause;

volunteering to help those in need of help.

Please talk to people who have fought and lived through war, and gave time, effort, food, and money to others knowing it might even jeopardize their personal well-being.

They will clarify the meaning of sacrifice.

Giving up holidays and weekends cannot be considered a sacrifice.

Stay home seniors, until some in our country figure out what sacrifice is….
