Doctor’s Diary February 26, 2021: COVID-19/BLM: “But I got the vaccine!”

(Snippets from the frontline)

COVID-19/BLM:  “But I got the vaccine!”

We have been propagandized with the belief a pill fixes everything, miracles abound, and everyone wins the lottery.

Soon, a public outcry will be heard:  “How did I get COVID when I got the vaccine?!”

Science is in infancy, and will be until Star Trek VI, with medical knowledge surrounding the human immune system limited.

Good science and statistics help sharpen the edges providing help treating illness, yet our ability to heal has many body variables.  From the deepest part of the ocean, to distant worlds in space, into the inner sanctums of the brain, we have a long road of discovery.

There is no magic pill, nor perfect vaccine, therefore maintain your social distance, keep masks in place, and wash your chapped hands frequently.

We are not in Star Trek VI, but must survive until we get there.

There is still hope you can win the lottery.
