COVID-19/BLM:  The last pandemic

Dr. Anthony Fauci has worked tirelessly for years battling infectious diseases including the COVID-19 pandemic.  In his epic story, a vaccine was rapidly produced changing mother nature’s effect on mankind.

Presently, some citizens express apprehension receiving this vaccine feeling it could not have been created so quickly.  But mRNA technology actually started 20 years ago, with application to vaccines not recognized until collateral science evolved.

When COVID-19 became apparent, the genetic code was immediately deciphered and released on January 10, 2020.  Within 2 days, the mRNA vaccine was born on paper, and 6 weeks later, doses were ready for testing.

Vaccines come to market slowly to protect the public from adverse effects, so scientific studies assuring evidence-based data collection sometimes takes years.  Once the COVID-19 vaccine was created, Operation Warp Speed was launched.

This is new science modernized for an old problem.  Just like the car, we have gone from the Model T to Tesla.

In the future, creation of vaccines will be exponentially faster and effective, possibly taking minutes to hours from lab to syringe, and even eliminating pandemics.

Maybe then, Dr. Fauci will be able to slow down and rest.

Unfortunately many of my family members have made the vaccine issue a political statement.
Our country has become so politically divided that even getting a vaccine is to some a political stand. The believe is if you get a vaccine the government is going to start taking all your rights away, starting with your guns.
I’m so sorry that everything you do turns into a political statement.
